Imagine if your child didn’t have you. Nobody to kiss away their tears. Keep them safe. Tell them it’s going to be okay. Children need families. And we have more children waiting for their forever family right now than we have families available to adopt them. Many of these orphaned or abandoned kids waiting in orphanages have been identified as needing special support. They tend to be older children, sibling groups or those with medical needs. For such children, we provide up to $5,000 towards the adoption fees for qualifying families — funds permitting. The more funds available for adoption subsidies, the bigger the pool of loving families available for our waiting kids.
